Quality
Copper base about 98%, boron content approximately 1.8-2.0% with typical, small impurities
CuB we offer acc 1981: 2003, which requires typ. 1.6% only. The material offered by us has a approximately 10% more active substance content and comes in granules form. Advantage of the shot is a better, more accurate dosage, and a faster dissolution in the melt as well as ist deoxidation property.
Description
Copper boron is a copper-colored alloy often used as an additive for degassing of copper materials, for example also of brass.
Packaging
Granules / shots made of copper-boron having a diameter of less than 2 cm in drums in units of ca. 50 kg but 100 or 200 kg on the stock and larger by agreement.
Also available in plates (on pallets) or sheared pieces from plates in barrels.

Dry and well ventilated
Availability
Granules are usually promptly available from stock in Hamburg, larger amounts and different forms according to agreement.
