Copper:  residual copper plus typical impurities

Silicon:  9.0-11.0%, 14.0-16.0% or 19.0-21.0%

Unless otherwise agreed, the quality shall be in accordance with EN 1981: 2003,

At 10% Si content according to the material number CM231E (A) or with somewhat higher impurities CM232E (B),

At 20% Si content according to material number CM233E (A) or slightly less pure CM234E

The master alloy of 15% can be produced by adjusting the Si content with the impurity specifications of the above-mentioned materials



Silicon copper is a copper master alloy typically used to make copper alloys, e.g. CuSiMn or CuNiSi and can thus consolidate some copper alloys from approx. 3% addition.

In addition to the basic metal, these alloys usually contain silicon or other alloying constituents in various weight fractions.



CuSi 10 is supplied in approx. 10 kg of ingots with a typical dimension of 415x70x50 mm on pallets, 15% content of Si in fractions of this in barrels.



Like all metals and master alloys for melting, CuSui should be stored dry.



Copper silicon is usually produced by order.
