Bismuth nitrate is a colorless liquid.
A typical use is for example the production of bismuth vanadate (inorganic yellow pigment with strong green, or reddish). This is increasingly seen since the mid-80s as a substitute for lead chromate and cadmium sulfide.
Bismuth content is approximately 23% to 27%
250kg drums, IBC's, each 1.600kg or loose in a tank truck.
Bismuth nitrate is sensitive to low temperatures. During transport and storage, the temperature should not drop below 12°C, otherwise crystallization occurs in the solution!
